Meteorología Aeronáutica AVA
This book synthesizes the meteorological knowledge required by the European EASA Part-FCL regulations for future pilots. It’s clear and concise wording allows an easy and practical handling by the reader.
The abundance of graphs, schemes, illustrations and diagrams, as well as photographs and images of remote sensing and meteorological maps provided by the INM, support and complement the text and makes easier its comprehension.
Written by Blanca González López, Licentiate in Physical Sciences and predictive analyst of the National Center of Prediction of the State Agency of Meteorology.
Book that gathers all the meteorological knowledge that the European regulation EASA Part-FCL requires to the future pilots.
Its writing allows a simple and practical handling on the part of the student or reader. At the same time, the large number of diagrams, graphs, illustrations and diagrams approximate the matter in an easy and didactic way. The photographs, images and maps come to complete this fantastic meteorology manual enormously useful for those interested, not only in knowing but in deepening in the matter.
Written by Blanca González López, Licensed in Physical Sciences and predictive analyst of the National Center of Prediction of the State Agency of Meteorology.
The first part of the book explains general meteorology topics, while the second part, specifically aeronautics, groups together chapters relating to meteorological dangers to flight, such as turbulence, storms, freezing, shearing and reduced visibility, and a summary review of the organisation of the Meteorological Services that provide support to Aviation, explaining in detail the different aeronautical meteorological information products.
Although the book is intended for pilot students, its reading may be useful for other interested readers, whether in Aeronautical Meteorology or General Meteorology, given the wide range of topics covered and the abundance of information accompanied by accurate data.
